About The Role: Senior Sales Manager at TechCabal
TechCabal Insights is looking to hire a Sales Manager who will develop, manage and grow high-level revenue streams from a wide range of products and platforms from International clients in the United Kingdom and Europe. This role will report to the Head of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development. Your primary target market is companies looking to expand into Africa or with an existing footprint on the continent. Big Cabal Media offers brands a wide range of advertising, partnership, and sponsorship opportunities. A Sales Manager must understand those offerings well and decide on the right solutions to fit each client’s needs.
What do you need to be considered successful?
In this role, you will be expected to do the following:

Expanding their client and media agency base in the United Kingdom

Building a thorough understanding of the media platforms and solutions, and how they can be used to solve brand and business challenges for clients

Building and presenting compelling proposals that solve client objectives through content-based solutions and visual storytelling

Ensuring timely and accurate reports that allow client partners to shine and lead to repeat business opportunities
How Important are you to the bottom line?
This high-performing job requires persistent and persuasive interaction with clients, the ability to open new doors, close big deals and p, and roven sales skills in media across the UK and Europe. The ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to manage and deliver on projects is essential. You will be focused on United Kingdom sales. Beyond sales – establishing relationships with the Marketing teams of Media buying & PR agencies, technology companies, Development agencies, and FMCGs is required. This role will be supported by able sales team members and a Project Manager.
The biggest problem-solving duties on the job?
The role will be multi-faceted. In addition to closing deals, you will oversee delivery and ensure clients receive reports. In this outward-facing role, you may be involved in partnership conversations, helping to grow our brand value and always supporting opportunities to drive commercial value. You should be able to complete tasks with little supervision but you must be a team player.

Proven experience closing high-value commercial deals in media

A strong media and marketing background with deep brand, digital, social, and content marketing expertise

Strong relationships with decision-makers at global media buying & PR agencies, corporations, foundations, and more across the United Kingdom and Europe.

Strong relationships with diaspora Africans in the technology ecosystem

Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and bring them along on project deliverables

A desire to work in a rapidly growing and evolving start-up with an informal but driven culture.
