About The Role

TeamApt is looking for a Chief of Staff to help define, manage and steer their strategy at all levels in line with our global organizational focus. You will be responsible for accelerating growth, optimizing efficiencies and managing OKRs. You will be tasked with implementing daily operations, aligned with the business long-term business goals, and the company’s overall strategies; acting as the bridge between the various business divisions to ensure cohesion across the business.

What do you need to be considered successful?

The ideal candidate will be part of the leadership team, making key decisions around processes and business impact. Your responsibilities are to;

  • Work closely with the CEO on all areas of the business. Offering a sounding board on key decision making

  • Work with the exec team to centralise and analyse the organization’s long-term strategy

  • Handle investor relations and Board Meeting preparations, and ensure clean, accurate and timely reporting to the investors.

  • Provide consistent cross-organisational communication and updates on strategy, objectives, progress.

  • Identify talent gaps across the organisation.

  • Build out the right metrics to measure delivery and for teams to track progress, enabling organisation and teams to measure and track vs industry benchmarks

  • Leading and implementing quarterly OKR & monthly planning with the CEO.

  • Lead Special projects, trend and competitor analysis.

How important are you to the bottom line?

Working closely with the CEOs direct reports, you’ll be operating cross functionally across the entire business to inform and drive results, alignment, and build effective cross-team relationships that enable better communication and collaboration.

The biggest problem-solving duties on the Job

This is a leadership role where you will be required to set objectives, oversee company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture and ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met.

What do you need to have done in your career?

  • A Bachelor’s degree, MBA, or equivalent level of experience.

  • Minimum 10+ years of working experience

  • Experience in the fintech industry is an advantage.

  • Excellent stakeholder management.

  • The ability to flip from strategy to execution constantly, taking on strategic projects directly and working on long term plans to integrate solutions into the wider business;

  • 4-5 years in a high growth startup/scale up environment.

  • Strong commercial background

  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills as well as being comfortable with data analysis and financial modelling

  • Can manage a large group of stakeholders across geographies and seniority levels

  • Experience with leading and building distributed / remote teams.
