Let’s Partner Up. Your target audience are our friends! By partnering with CareerBuddy Daily, you’ll be positioning your brand, product, or services to reach thousands of captivated readers that are eager to learn about what you have to offer. Hello, Buddy! How are you doing? So I saw this yesterday and literally couldn’t wait to show you; Click on the image if you care to read the full thing! In other news, your loyalty to the organization you work for might be costing you a lot. And it’s really funny how the corporate world preaches employee loyalty but the system in itself is designed to reward those who are ultimately loyal to themselves and not the organization they work for. See I really don’t have much to say today o! Just here to remind you of the consequences of your loyalty; Or let me ask you – If automating or outsourcing your job will make your company more money, do you think your employer would hesitate to show you the door out of loyalty to you? I don’t think so. Yes, because your boss is not Queen Charlotte who would stand with you between the heavens and the earth! They’re in business to make money, not to stay married to you. 2. You snooze: When you start feeling like you’re the only one who can keep the company or your department running, it’s easy to get complacent and forget about asking yourself important questions about your own career.. like what you really want, if you’re on the right track, what you’ve learnt, if you’re being fairly paid, and what’s next for you. Don’t let misguided loyalty lull you into a false sense of security! You snooze, you loose o 3. They stop rating you: When you are always a yes person, always working around the clock, always reachable outside of work, it’s only a matter of time before you start to lose value (and ultimately money). I mean the jpeg I showed you earlier says it all. A wise man once said.. “You have to value your contribution to your job enough to dole it out judiciously” Am I saying you should ditch loyalty altogether? No, my dia! All I’m saying is you need to stay jiggy and make sure that your loyalty isn’t causing you to miss out on the benefits and compensation that you deserve. You still owe your company an appropriate amount of loyalty. You still owe them your best everyday. You still owe them your creative solutions and the work you’re paid to do. Buuuuuuttttt….
At the end of the day, the only person you should be a 100% loyal to is YOU! P.S A Happy Mothers’ Day to all the amazing women in our community juggling building a family and a career! You’re the real Idan! Let no one tell you otherwise Top Related Resources:
