About the Role
Hashvest is looking to hire a user-obsessed Product Designer with a passion for developing solutions that allow customers to intuitively use their products. The ideal candidate will be skilled at each stage of the design process while staying focused on the needs of the customer
What do you need to do to be considered successful?
You will make deliberate design decisions and translate any user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction. You will also be responsible for:

You will work with cross-functional team members and rely heavily on qualitative and quantitative data to gain insights.

You will turn your insights into delightful designs.

Set design requirements based on information from internal teams and user research.

Identify new product improvement opportunities.

Analyze how a new product satisfies market needs and consumer preferences.

Stay up to date on current industry trends and market conditions.

Coordinate with other design team members to ensure consistent and accurate communication.

Modify and revise existing designs to meet changing customer preferences.

Work closely with product engineers to suggest improvements for products and processes.

Present product design ideas to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

What do you need to have done In your career?

4+ years of Digital Product Design
-
Hands-on experience designing UX and UI in Figma
-
Strong core product design skills: visual design, prototyping, interaction design, and information architecture

A portfolio that demonstrates strong interaction and visual design capabilities
-
1+ years experience working in an agile environment, with distributed teams and agile delivery tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
-
Experience driving design through the full product development cycle (discovery, concepts, prototypes, specs)
-
Consistently articulate a strong design rationale

Experience managing creative design efforts in a complex environment
-
Diverse professional background and industry experience beyond Financial Services

Knowledge and understanding of project management principles: managing projects from beginning to end; that vary in scope and complexity

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making skills
