Hello, Buddy! If you never want to have to tell people what you do, here’s your script; Them: What do you do? You: My best! Yeah, you’re welcome. In Today’s Email:
THE BIG IDEA ‘‘What Do You Do For A Living?’’Saying this is not one of the first questions people ask you on a first meet, is like saying you can run into your old Nigerian school teacher without hearing the words.. ‘‘WHERE ARE YOU NOW?’’ And it’s really funny how we got to that point. Yes, there are those who cling to their job titles like they believe it’s the only thing that gives them value and makes them worth talking to. But there are also people who are either unemployed or just don’t really like their jobs enough to want to talk about it. If you’ve let your job consume so much of your time that you have nothing else to talk about, here are 57 good conversation starters so you never run out of what to say. By the way, I got this idea from this article in The Wall Street Journal. So, what’s your take on this? Do you think it makes sense to lead with something other than work when having conversations with people?
